POOR LITTLE SECRET SERVICE AGENTS UNHAPPY OVER PAY
I was watching Fox News this morning and a retired SS agent came on "Fox and Friends" to complain that his active duty SS agent pals weren't getting paid enough, as it would appear their pay is capped at $174,000 per year, which is the lowest wage for a U.S. Congress Creature, regardless of the number of hours worked.
I did a quick fact checking by way of Google and it would appear that most SS agents have a salary that is above $100,000 a year after only five years service - and if they get the maximum salary allowed of $174K - this puts those lucky individuals in the elite 1.5 percent of all wage earners in America!
The above $100,000 wage is just one item in the SS agents five star golden compensation package: they receive 30 days paid vacation per year, retirement (which they do not contribute) after 25 years, Excellent federal civil service medical benefits, free life insurance, and membership in the federal credit union with low cost loans for houses, cars, boats, etc.
I don't know what the money breakdown for the five star golden compensation package per year is, but I would estimate at least $100,000 per year per SS agents.
Yes, I know some SS agents put their well paid lives in harms way for those they protect, but how many well paid and compensated SS agents have been killed defending politicians? I can't think of ONE off the top of my head, although I do recall one very unusual brave, patriotic and SOBER SS agent wounded taking a bullet meant for President Reagan in 1981 during a failed assassination attempt.
Yes, I would question the SS agents drinking habits: During the SUCCESSFUL JFK assassination in 1963, the SS agent had partied all the previous night and showed up for work hungover. It would appear from their highly questionable actions of during a fateful and terrible day for America that hangovers by a majority of JFK's SS agents were an important factor in the success of Lee H. Oswald.
I wonder how much those 18 year old Army privates killed in Afghanistan and Iraq during 2001 to 2015 were paid per year? I would make a wild guess their salary and compensation package was far less than SS agents.
Hey SS guys and dolls - This old retired Army sergeant is playing the world's most tiny violin for all you poor little underpaid and heroic bullet stopping SS agents.
